  Suzanne Miranda   Boss Lady | Strength Instructor | Personal Trainer   Driven by a passion to motivate and inspire others, Suzanne, has gained a positive reputation in the fitness industry by showing her clients how strong they truly are.  Suzanne specializes in Fitness and Athletic Training and Coaching. She has competed in over half a dozen Fitness Bikini Competitions in the past year, gaining pro status in her first year of competing. Sports and fitness have always been a large part of her life. As a child and young adult, she was a competitive softball player, ran numerous 5k's, and tried every style of dance.  If you don't find her in the gym, you will find her on the dance floor.

  Tara Thallmayer   Zumba Instructor  Tara started teaching Zumba only a day after she became certified in September 2012.  She has been practicing Zumba for over seven years and has taught hundreds of people.  Born and raised in Philadelphia, she has been learning diverse forms of dances since age 5. Growing up in Philly, she was exposed to different types of dance styles from various countries. Her Zumba style includes Merengue, Bachata, Salsa, Cumbia, Bollywood, and her favorite, Soca. Tara is a ZIN member and takes advantage of opportunities to learn assorted methods of Zumba. When Tara is not practicing Zumba, she’s a full time epidemiologist at the Maryland State Health Department. Zumba is something she does for herself. Her motto is  “I don’t care if you get the steps right, just don’t hurt anyone around you!”

  Pete Johnson  Bootcamp Instructor | Personal Trainer  Pete is a certified personal trainer, including TRX, CPR and AED. Growing up, he was involved in sports all of his life, eventually becoming a Division I athlete. Health and fitness have always been a priority in his life. First and foremost, as a trainer,  Pete strives to bring his clients results and knowledge regarding proper nutrition and health.  He holds a BA Degree in Sport Management from Towson University.  We can argue means, I only care about results!

Pete is a certified personal trainer, including TRX, CPR and AED. Growing up, he was involved in sports all of his life, eventually becoming a Division I athlete.   Kat Davis  Strength & Conditioning Instructor/Personal Trainer   Kat  is a certified  ACE  personal trainer and  Strong First  SFG1 kettlebell and SFB bodyweight instructor. She loves sharing that with others through quality and purposeful training. She follows Gray Cook's philosophy of first moving well then moving often.  Find what you love and do that!

  Fufi  Head of Security   Fufi  is a previous  BARCS  alumni and now a certified  Emotional Support Animal . At 10 years old she protects and supports the staff and members at City Fit. She has been part of the community for over 3 years and is a huge addition to our staff.

  John Waszilycsak  Kick Boxing Instructor   John  began training while completing his AAS degree in  Exercise Science . He enjoys working with individuals who may have unique training concerns. While working with people who have specific needs arising from prior injury or chronic disease, he discovered the greater challenge involved to be highly motivating, and more rewarding. He believes that  health should be the premise of exercise , and places a high emphasis on client education.  First, exercise to feel good. Looking good will follow naturally

Besides gaining inner peace, Monica’s practice helped her  eliminate her lower back pain  from a severe car accident and recover from her ACL surgery. After 13yrs of practicing, she completed a 200hr YTT in India studying Hatha yoga. Summer 2018, Monica completed her 300hr YTT from Baltimore Yoga Village. Monica’s training in  Hatha principles, asana, breath work, meditation  and over 4 years of experience teaching has given her the tools in order to support you to grow physically and mentally stronger. The  candlelight yoga class  is suitable for  all levels  and anyone seeking to stretch out after their workout for a more restorative flow.
